Qutub Minar Timings

The Qutub Minar is 72.5 meters high tower built by Qutab-ud-din Aibak in the year 1193 as a symbol of victory against Delhi’s last Hindu ruler. The tower not just stands as a significant historical monument in India but also as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Qutub Minar timing is from 6 a.m to 6 p.m. The monument remains open to the public on all days of the week.

Quick Facts

  • Standing at a height of 72.5 metres, it is the tallest minaret in the world.
  • At one point of time, the top floor of the minaret was destroyed by lightning and had to be rebuilt.

  • By Rail: The Qutub Minar is around 17 km from New Delhi Railway Station.
